Chad Engelkins

Chad Aaron Engelkins, 46, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018. He was born in Morrison, Illinois on January 29, 1972. Chad was a master mechanic who enjoyed tinkering on cars, drawing, singing and playing his guitar. He was an avid Cubs fan. Chad was a loving husband and father. Preceding him in death was his step-father, Donald Ehren. Surviving is his wife of 14 years, Shelley Engelkins; six children, Jake, Grace, Lynni, Cleo, Josie, and Henry Engelkins; mother, Becky Ehren; father, Jerry Engelkins (Diane); sister, Lisa Terry (Mark); niece, Sierra Thornton; nephew, Jordan Fightmaster; brother-in-law, Craig Fightmaster (Katy Lusetti); father and mother-in-law, Jerry Fightmaster (Paula). A celebration of life service will be held at 11:30 AM Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at River Oaks Community Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
