Charles Edward Smith

Charles Edward Smith, 78, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2023. He was born on November 30, 1944, in Colfax to the late Harry Smith and Della Jackson Smith. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Lana Kiser Smith; a grandson Nickolas Smith Coltrane; and four siblings, Mary Ruth Simmons, Harry Smith, Jr., Francis “Doodle” Smith, and Lucille Alley. 

Charles is survived by a daughter, Shannon (Chris) Williard, a son Charles Brandon (Mandi) Smith; three grandchildren, Braden Charles Coltrane, Emma Kate Smith, and Jackson Walker Smith; a beloved brother-in-law Randall (Kay) Kiser; and a host of nieces and nephews.
