Charles Enscore

Mr. Charles F. Enscore, 83, of Winston-Salem passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at Forsyth Medical Center. Charles was born in Forsyth County on August 10, 1936, to Alberta and Ralph Enscore. He retired from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Department after many years of service. Charles loved life. He enjoyed working in the yard, feeding the squirrels and simply driving around town to see what may be happening that day. He never met a stranger and was a cherished friend to many. He loved to joke and always brought a smile to those around him. Surviving are his loving wife of 48 years, Virginia White Enscore; one son, Michael Enscore; three daughters, Kelley Bullard, Lynn Enscore, and Donna Kay Tucker. "He was an awesome soul” and cherished by many. The family will have a private graveside service.
