Charles Lyn Flippin

Kernersville - Mr. Charles Lyn Flippin passed away February 8, 2013 at his home in Kernersville. He was born April 24, 1952 in Stokes Co. to the late Paul and Janie Bennett Flippin. Charles was a transportation supervisor at Guilford Mills for 39 yrs. He loved Nascar, coaching his daughter's softball teams, and enjoyed being with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy H. Flippin of the home, a daughter, Michelle Cope (Barry) of Kernersville, five sisters, Bonnie Bennett, Nancy Gordon, Faye Fields (Robert), Louise Bottoms (Mack), Jean Clarke (Randy), three grandchildren, Gage Anderson, Luke Cope, and Paige Rodriguez, one great grandchild, Kristian Rodriguez, lots of loving nieces and nephews, and a very special friend, Jerry Flacks. A Memorial Service will be conducted 3:00 PM Sunday, February 10, 2013 at First Christian Church in Kernersville with Rev. Pete Kunkle officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
