Charles Foster

Mr. Charles "Frank" Foster, 91, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born August 6, 1926 in Davie County to the late Franklin Kerr and Beulah Cope Foster. Mr. Foster served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was stationed in Norfolk, VA. He was a member of Lewisville United Methodist Church, Lewisville Civic Club, and the American Legion. Preceding him in death were three brothers, Irving Foster, T.J. Foster, and Phil Foster. Surviving is his wife of 68 years, Irene Foster; daughter, Suzanne Foster; sister, Polly Slaydon; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 23, 2018 at Lewisville United Methodist Church with Dr. Ivan Peden officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the burial at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lewisville United Methodist Church, PO Box 305 Lewisville, NC 27023.
