Charles Edward Gray, Jr.

Mr. Charles Edward Gray, Jr., 77, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at his home. He was born June 20, 1938 in Guilford County to the late Sadie Westmoreland Gray and Charles Edward Gray, Sr. Mr. Gray graduated from Colfax High School, Oak Ridge Military Academy, and Winston-Salem State University. He retired from Rock-Tenn. Mr. Gray was a member of Old Town Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Faye Smith Gray; son, Charles Edward Gray, III; daughter, Cindy Gray Clawson; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Rex Thomas Gray. A memorial service will be conducted at Old Town Baptist Church 2:00 Thursday, November 19 with Rev. Rick Speas officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
