Charles Cleo Hall, Jr.

Charles Cleo Hall, Jr, 73, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.

Charles was born on February 6, 1952, in Forsyth County, NC, to Charles Cleo Hall, Sr., and Guelda Alliene Lawson Hall. He earned his associate degree from Wingate University. He worked as a computer programmer at Wachovia and First Union Bank.

Charles grew up attending Bethany Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Carolina Panthers and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Ginger Heath. He is survived by his nephew, Jason Heath; Jason’s wife, Kelly Heath; and great-nieces, Hannah Heath and Baleigh Layell.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff and residents at Creekside Terrace for welcoming Charles into the community.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel officiated by Dr. Brad Stamey. Burial will immediately follow the service at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
