Charles Allan Hooker

Charles Allan Hooker, 54, of Winston-Salem, passed away early Monday morning on November 18, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Chuck was born September 5, 1959 in Forsyth County to William B. and Autumn M. Hooker. Chuck was a graduate of Parkland High School. He was self-employed and a member of Pinedale Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his father, William B. Hooker. Surviving are his mother, Autumn M. Hooker of the home; his brother, Bill, Jr. of Leesburg, VA and his children, Charlie and Rachel; his brother, Tommy and wife Brenda and their three sons, Tommy Jr. and Leigh, Scott and Heather of Winston-Salem, and David and Hannah of Sumter, SC. He also had four very special great nieces, Madison, Amelia, Lilly and Emma; and a new great nephew, Hank William Hooker. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel on Wednesday, November 20 from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. There will be a private graveside service following with Pastors Bill McKenzie and Bob McCaskill of Pinedale Christian Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103, or to Pinedale Christian Church, 3395 Peters Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
