Charles Eugene King

Mr. Charles Eugene King, 72, of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born November 13, 1938 in Rockingham County to Bessie Butler King and Numa Archie King. Mr. King was a member of Ardmore United Methodist Church and retired as owner of N.A. King Exxon. Surviving are his wife, Carol Edwards King; one son, Charles Edward King of Lilburn, GA; one daughter, Carolyn Paige Kuppler (Craig) of Clayton, NC; two grandchildren, Alexander Kuppler and Claire Kuppler and one brother, James A. King (Betty W.) of Winston-Salem. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Forsyth Memorial Park. There is no stated visitation.
