Charles L. Moorefield

Mr. Charles L. Moorefield passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014. He retired from U.S. Airways in 2002. Mr. Moorefield is survived by his wife, Betty Moorefield; son, Charles L. Moorefield, Jr. and wife, Allison; granddaughter, Lilly Moorefield; two brothers, Delmar Moorefield and Oscar Moorefield, Jr.; one sister, Mary Nunn; five nieces and five nephews. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 22 at Bethania Moravian Church with the Rev. Russ May officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Bethania Moravian Church, P.O. Box 170, Bethania, NC 27010.
