Charles Lee Slater
Mr. Charles Lee Slater, 82, passed away Monday, June 23, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center.
He was born December 1, 1942, in Forsyth County, NC, to the late Charlie Lee Slater and Dorothy Maxey Spear.
Charles was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. In addition, he enjoyed motorcycles and fishing. Charles was known for being a family man and a father figure to many.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki Slater. Charles is survived by his two children, Terry Slater (Kim) and Robin Rapp (Jim); one granddaughter, Vanna Lee (Nick); two great-grandchildren, Maya Lee and Rinn Lee; and special friend, Barbara Tilley.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00AM on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with Peter Cain, Minister officiating. Per Charles request, people attending the graveside service dress in casual attire.
