Charles Wayne Cornatzer

Mr. Charles Wayne Cornatzer, age 82 of Clemmons, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026. He was born November 24, 1943 in Portsmouth County, VA to the late Cicero Went Cornatzer and Maria Wood Cornatzer. Mr. Cornatzer was a member of Clemmons First Baptist Church and had retired from Amp Inc. after 22 years of service. He is preceded in death by his wife Jennie Pardue Cornatzer, two sisters and 5 brothers. He is survived by two sons, Jon W. Cornatzer (Tamara) of Clemmons and Jason T. Cornatzer of St. Louis, MO; five grandchildren, Kiera, Kai, Jake, Liliana, and Lucas and one brother, Anderson “Woody” Cornatzer of Lewisville. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel by Rev. Matthias Young. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
