Charlotte Mae Crown Elliott

Charlotte Mae Crown Elliott, 84, of Stokesdale, NC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at her home. She was born to the late William Crown and Viola Gibson Crown on March 7, 1941, in Arlington, Virginia.

Charlotte was a fiercely independent woman who lived her life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time going to church, visiting with friends, and sitting on her front porch. Charlotte will be remembered as someone who loved to laugh, enjoy good food, and spend time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred A. Elliot, Sr.; daughter, Mitz R. Elliott; sister, Gloria Stotler; and brother, Billy Crown.

She is survived by her sweet daughter, Kim Hylton; son, Fred A. Elliott, Jr.; grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, and Sarah (Ryan); great-grandchildren, Sofia, Selah, Josie, and Londyn; and special friends, Janet, and Sandy.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Wesley Byerly officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 10:45am prior to the service. The burial will immediately follow the service at Parklawn Memorial Park.
