Charlotte Riggs

Kernersville - Charlotte Marie Cox Riggs, 80, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Kernersville Medical Center. Charlotte was born on July 11, 1937 in Guilford County to James Harvey and Stella Carter Cox. She was a loving homemaker to her family and a good woman all around. Charlotte did more for everybody else than she did for herself, including her canine companion, "Dog" who ruled the roost.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her son, Keith Willard.
Surviving are her husband, Lonnie Riggs; her children, Coy Lee Willard (Beth), Robin Willard, Jeff Willard, Theresa Jefferys (Newman) and Angie Mabe (E.W.); 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at all times at the home of Lonnie Riggs. A Celebration of Life will be held for Charlotte from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown in the mausoleum chapel.
