Chera Demarest

Mrs. Chera Edwards Demarest, 47, of Asheboro, NC passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Friday, April 27, 2018 at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro, NC. She was born July 18, 1970 in Belleville, NJ to Coit and Linda Edwards. She was preceded in death by her father, her maternal and paternal grandparents and her niece, Hailey Dougherty. Survivors include her husband, Michael Demarest; her mother, Linda Edwards; her sister, Crista Dougherty (John); her niece, Angel Dougherty; her nephew, John Patrick Dougherty; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Chera's name to ASPCA, P.O. Box 96929, Washington, DC 20020 or Eleventh Hour Rescue, P. O.
