Christina Housman

Miss Christina Louise Housman, 68, of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. Christina was born in Cauquira, Honduras to the late Rev. E. Howard Housman and Martha Myer Housman on October 6, 1949. She was a daughter of Moravian missionary parents and worked with her mother helping as a nursing assistant at the clinic in Cauquira and Ahuas Hospital. After graduating from nursing at Columbia University School of Nursing and Moravian College, she worked as a nurse at Rusk Rehab Hospital in New York. Christina also worked as a Visiting Nurse in Connecticut, New Mexico, New York and North Carolina. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Housman and sister, Sarah Norwood. She is survived by sisters Bari Fort (Dennis) and Ruth Housman; nieces and nephews, Hugh Norwood (Terri); Sam Norwood (Janet); Heather Nassaur (Michael); Christopher Fort (Kelly); Melanie Horton (Anthony); great nieces and nephews, Charlie and Jonathan Norwood; Lucy and Jacob Norwood; Samantha and Joseph Nassaur; Benjamin and Iain Fort; Isabela Horton.
