Mrs. Christine Marie Webb Hendrick, age 79, passed away October 6, 2016, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born August 7, 1937, in Carroll County, Va, to the late Charles Issac and Dottie Maude Webb. Christine was a longtime and dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Stanleyville. She was very active in her church, working in the Sunday school office for many years. In addition, she taught a women's Sunday school class. Christine was a devoted wife, loving mother, and the grandchildren knew her as ""Momma Chrissy."" She has fought the fight, and has won the race as she is reunited with her husband and best friend in Heaven. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Edwin Dale Hendrick. Surviving are her children, Lisa Hendrick (Vince) Mitchell, John Charles (Lynette) Hendrick; grandchildren, Jordan (Lacey) Hendrick, Brooke (Kalob) Hubbard; Great-grandchildren, Colton Hendrick, Reece Hubbard; one brother, Chester Webb (Amy), and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel Rural Hall with Pastor Eddie Honeycutt officiating. Interment will follow at Bluemont Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Hillsville Va. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Palliative Gift Fund, Forsyth Memorial Hospital, 3333 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27199
