Christine Whalin Lawson

We are saddened to announce the passing of Christine Whalin Lawson. Christine died peacefully on April 2, 2026, after a long struggle with COPD. She was 68.

Christine was a vivacious person who loved people and loved life. Good humor poured from her laugh and her smile. Her pranks were legendary as were her Thanksgiving Day Feasts, which filled both heart and soul. She never turned away those in need, and when she gave herself, she gave every ounce of her soul. Most of all, she was a child of God. Her faith was absolute, and her every profession a testament to the Lord our God.

Christine now rejoices in Heaven with friends and family who have gone before. Those of us waiting in the wings to see her again include her husband, Steven; her sons, Stevie and Chris; granddaughters, Brytain and Kinsley; grandson, Brandtley; and her sisters, Marilyn and Jeanne.

May you now live anew and be happy, for we will meet again.
