On Wednesday, September 12, 2012, Cinda Leigh Jones Keys, the sweetest, kindest, most generous woman we knew, passed peacefully into eternity after two years of struggling with Parkinsons Plus disease. Cinda is finally at rest. A truly beautiful soul has been silenced, but the voice of Cinda's memory will forever be heard by anyone who was blessed to have crossed paths with her. Cinda was born on December 28, 1954 to Harry E. Jones and Nelta C. Jones. She grew up in Winston-Salem and graduated from Parkland High School. She worked at Eckerds and Food Lion, but most of her career was in dentistry. She was a dedicated and hard-working dental assistant. She was preceded in death by her father; a brother-in-law, Danny Gordon; and a nephew, Tye Jones. Surviving are her husband and soul mate of 30 years, Richard Keys; her mother, Nelta, whom she was dedicated to, up until the time she was unable to anymore; three sisters, Brenda Jones, Linda Hutchens (Jay), and Diane West (Allen); two brothers, Larry Jones (Robin) and Fred Jones (Martha). Also surviving are many brothers and sisters-in-law through marriage; and eight nieces and nephews whom she adored and would give the world to. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Chris Byrne officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
