Claire Rose Wagaman

Claire Rose Wagaman, 17, passed away at her home on August 29, 2025. Claire was born on March 11, 2008, to Lisa Nicole Cooprider and Branan Joel Wagaman in Seattle, WA. She was a bright and talented student who had just begun her Junior year at Atkins High School and The Career Center. Claire enjoyed spending time with her friends where her laughter and kindness made every moment brighter. Claire loved music and played flute in Wind Ensemble and the Atkins Marching Band. She was involved in numerous clubs and teams including lacrosse, track, crochet club, and FCCLA, where she competed in the National Championships.

Claire was funny and outgoing. She enjoyed sushi and seafood and Granny Smith apples. She had a heart for all animals and enjoyed volunteering at her local pet rescue. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Claire was preceded in death by her grandmother, Cheryl Cooprider; and stepsister, Taylor Alexis Foy. Surviving are her loving father, Branan Wagaman (Barbara Wagaman); loving mother, Lisa Cooprider (Fernando Sanchez-Brugal); twin sister, Stella Blue Wagaman; brother, Cooper Wagaman; grandparents, Denny and Cheryl Wagaman; and grandfather, Sandy Cooprider; uncles, Shawn Cooprider and Josh Cooprider; extended family, many friends; and her cherished feline companion, Lilli.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM, Monday, September 8, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A reception will follow at the Robert F. Miller Center, located on the property at the funeral home.
