Clarence Everhart Jr., 78, passed away comfortably at home on July 4, 2024. Clarence was born on May 26, 1946, in Forsyth County to the late Mr. Clarence Neil Everhart Sr. and Mrs. Clara Wilson Everhart.
Clarence dedicated many years of his life to serving the community with bravery and compassion as captain of the Winston-Salem Fire Department. He embraced a fulfilling life, indulging in his passions for fishing, hiking, gardening, golf and travel. A man of many talents and interests, Clarence also found joy in volunteering and was always eager to give back to those around him.
Above all, Clarence cherished quality time with his family. His love for people was evident in his warm, funny nature making him a beloved friend to many. His humor and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Preceding him in passing was the love of his life and wife of 52 years, Judy. We are comforted knowing they are now reunited.
Clarence's legacy of love, laughter, and dedication will forever be remembered by his children (Lane and Ryan), his grandson (Landon), extended family, friends, and the countless lives he touched. Per his wishes, there will be no formal services.
Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family.
