Clarence Thomas Small

WINSTON-SALEM- Clarence Thomas Small, 73, died Sunday, April 10, 2016. Clarence was born in Randolph County, NC on January 25, 1943 to Junie Wilson and Ida Mae Small. He was a truck driver for BFI, and a member of Amity Baptist Church. He loved fishing, racing, and antique cars; spending time with family and friends; and traveling. In addition to his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by a son - Clarence ""Lee"" Small. Surviving are his wife - Mary Ruth Taylor Small; three sons - Joey Culler (Angel), Duane Culler, and Bryce Culler; three daughters - Lisa Bailey (Steve), Linda Burrow (Shawn), and Ann Small; 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one brother - Lester Small. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, April 15, 2016 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with Pastor Ron Haines officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Kernersville. Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Kernersville is assisting the family.
