Mr. Clay Allen Jones, Jr., age 36, of Clemmons, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Clay Allen was born on June 21, 1989, in Forsyth County to Clay Allen Jones, Sr., and Kimberly Marino. A successful businessman, he was the proud owner of HillCrest Lawn and Landscaping. Clay Allen knew what he wanted to do from a young age. Growing up on HillCrest Golf Course sparked his passion for landscaping and the outdoors. He dedicated his business to the place that shaped him, naming it in honor of the course that first inspired him. Clay Allen was known for his fearless spirit, strong work ethic, and his deep love for his family — especially his role as a devoted father. He found joy in the simple things: working outside on his property, spending time with his children, and appreciating each moment as it came. Clay Allen never rushed through life; he took everything in, savoring each experience and every small joy along the way. He had a generous heart and was always ready to help others, often quietly and without recognition. Clay Allen made an impact on countless people through small acts of kindness that he never spoke about. He was a true friend to many — loyal, dependable, and always there when needed. He is survived by his two beloved children, Ella Page Jones and Alaina Mae Jones; his fathers, Clay Allen Jones, Sr. and Vincent Marino; his mother, Kimberly Marino; his sisters, Kaitlyn Grubb, Anna Marino, and Ashley Jones; his grandparents, Richard and Linda Jones, Cynthia Zink, and Warren Bates; his nieces, Marlowe Poole and Piper Grubb, and his brother-in-law, Alex Grubb. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Virginia Bates and his first cousin Richard Page Jones III. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Hope Moravian Church with Rev. David Merritt officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to https://www.campmerriwood.net/donate/
