Mr. Clifton Blair "Rudy" Kane, Jr., 93, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018, at his home. He was born November 18, 1924, in Forsyth County, the son of the late, Clifton Blair Kane, Sr. and Grace Stultz Kane. Mr. Kane was a member of Fries Memorial Moravian Church where he was a member of the Moravian Band. He served with the US Marine Corps from 1942 until 1946 during World War II and retired from the US Air Force in 1971. He was a former employee of LCP & Plastics in Colfax. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his second wife, Valia H. Kane and by his former wife, Margie L. Kane, the mother of his children. Survivors include five Children, Philip Wade Kane (Pat) of Kernersville, Larry David Kane (Loretta) of South Dakota, Richard Neil Kane of Winston-Salem, Patricia B. Kane of Kernersville, and Donna Kay Kane of Walkertown; two stepchildren, Kay F. Davis (Robbie) of Raleigh and Frederick Jackson Felker III (Patty) of Durham; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at Fries Memorial Moravian Church with Rev. Jeff Coppage and Rev. Kelly Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Moravian Graveyard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway.
