Clyda Hollifield

Mrs. Clyda "Pat" Louise Earnhardt Hollifield, 87, of Winston-Salem, passed away at her home Saturday, May 12, 2018. She was born February 22, 1931 in Stanly County, to the late Robert Walter Earnhardt and Anna Carrie Waisner Earnhardt. Mrs. Hollifield was a loving mother and grandmother that will be dearly missed. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Edward James Hollifield, and nine siblings. Surviving are five daughters: Cheryl Walton, Cathy Pinch, Susan Kelly of Yadkinville, Karen Poe (Whit Everhart) of King, and Lisa Walls (Bradley); ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild; a brother-in-law, Herbert Fraizer; a sister-in-law, Lois Cagle; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Colleen Hutchens. A funeral service will be conducted in her honor 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Bethel United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. David E. Peeler. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
