Clyde D. Nichols

Mr. Clyde D. Nichols was born April 17th, 1931 to John and Lula Nichols in Surry County. Clyde was a truck driver by trade and he took his last trip on Thursday March 20, 2014 peacefully at home after an extended illness. Helen, his wife of 63 years, was by his side. Being the oldest of ten children, Clyde had nine children of his own, giving him 18 grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him. A funeral service will be held 11:00 Am Monday, March 24, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Tim Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A committal service will be held 1:00 PM Monday at Parklawn Memorial Park.
