Colvin Thomas Morgan

Mr. Colvin Thomas “Tommy” Morgan, 81, passed away August 7, 2025, at High Point Regional. Tommy was born January 2, 1944, in Randolph County to the late Leslie Haley Morgan and Lois Davidson Morgan. He graduated from Asheboro High School, attended Wingate University for a short time and graduated from Western Carolina where he majored in History. Mr. Morgan became a schoolteacher at the Tabernacle school in Asheboro. After serving in the US Army for four years, he came back to his love of teaching.

He is survived by one son, Josh Morgan and his wife Erica, two granddaughters, Amirah Owens and Ava Morgan.

A memorial service will be held at later date.
