Connie Gallemore Ellender

Winston-Salem - Our precious angel, Connie Gallemore Ellender, went to be with the Lord on December 16, 2012. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, niece, aunt and friend. She was always there to lend a hand or a kind word and was always willing to help anyone. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Gallimore. Surviving are her husband of 40 years, David Ellender; one son, Michael Ellender; her father, Robert Gallimore; two special aunts, Opal Aker and Betty Wright. She is also survived by the love of her life, her grandson, Dylan Ellender; brother-in-law, Joe Bill Ellender; and nephews, Joe, James and Jeremy Ellender. A memorial service celebrating Connie's life will be Tuesday, December 18 at 7:00 p.m. at Triad Christian Fellowship, 2378 Darwick Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27127 with Pastor Alan Malchuk, Pastor George Byrum and Pastor Dave Rickert officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Triad Christian Fellowship Building Fund.
