Connie Hicks Palmer

Connie Jane Hicks Palmer, 73, passed away surrounded by family and her best friend Sandra Trent at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on November 3, 2025. Connie was born on March 30, 1952, in Forsyth County, to the late Glenn T. Hicks, Sr., and Hallie Mae Love Hicks. Her favorite place to visit was White Lake with all of her "White Lake" friends who met there every year. Connie was a member of Woodland Baptist Church and graduated from North Forsyth High School. She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Wayne Palmer in 2019. Connie is survived by her special daughter Danielle Ellen Palmer; sisters Kathy (Roger) Plemmons, and Ellen Logan; brothers Glenn T. Hicks, Jr., and Dave (Amy) Hicks; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends Teresa, Sally, Carolyn, and Patricia; and Sammy, her cat. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
