Cupertina Salgado

Mrs. Cupertina Pelaez de Salgado of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019, at home surrounded by family and friends. She was born September 18, 1961. Mrs. Salgado was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Gustavo Pelaez and her sister, Humberta Pelaez.  Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Felipe Salgado; daughter, Alma Greer; son, Jose Almaza; and mother, Antonia Garcia Salinas. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Julissa and Angela; two grandsons, Phillip and Nicholas; two brothers, Gerardo and Jose; sister, Elsa; half brother, Gustavo Pelaez; and two half sisters, Irene and Eugenia Pelaez.  Mrs. Salgado had a very large extended family and was loving and caring to all. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who had many friends. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. The family will receive friends from 3-6pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
