Curtis Brinson Keel

Mr. Curtis Brinson Keel, age 70 of Advance, passed away in the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem on Thursday, October 3, 2024. Curtis was born in New Bern NC to Hazel and James Keel. Curtis Keel was preceded in death by Hazel and James Keel, sister Susan Tesreau, Maternal grandparents Lorena Barnes. Paternal Grandparents Ernest and Leona Keel. Curtis is survived by his wife Jennifer Upchurch Keel, and her daughter Lindsay Aggar of the home, His sons Chris Keel of Louisburg NC and daughter Breanna, Joseph Keel of Sacramento, California and son Nathan, James and wife Amy from Youngsville NC children Jacob and Emily. Stepchildren Michelle Smith of Clemmons and Johnny Smith and wife Sarah, daughter Mariah from Thomasville, Sisters Deborah Ferrell of Jacksonville NC, Ellen Keel of Havelock NC and Elizabeth and Chad of Arapahoe NC, children Andrew and Lilly. Curtis loved his family, he had two nieces, Erin Moore and little Mac and Kim Parker and husband Brian, children Brayden and Alena, a special friend Max Morgan and his favorite Aunt JoAnn Conners

A memorial service will be held, Sunday October 6, 2024, at 2:30pm by Pastor James Buchanon at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel,108 E Kinderton Way, Advance NC 27006. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
