Winston-Salem- Mr. Curtis Odell Snow, 84, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born May 26, 1933 in Forsyth County, the son of John Orville and Janie Holland Snow. He was retired from Bahnson Co. after many years of service and later went on to work at Lacy J. Miller Machine Shop. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he enjoyed NASCAR, being outside and loved his many trips to the beach. Devoted to his family, he loved to joke and never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Brian Crider; two brothers, Willard and Kenneth and a sister, Betty. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Dorothy Yow Snow; two daughters, Brenda Snow Crider and husband, Wayne of Winston-Salem and Kathy Snow Baumgardner of Mt. Airy; two brothers, Buddy and David; three sisters, Rachel, Thelma and Ivey; five grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 11, 2017 in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bobby Dishman officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
