D. Scales

Mr. D. Alan Scales, 61, of Winston-Salem passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at his residence. He was born on October 25, 1955 in New York, NY to Robert and Nora Colley Scales. Mr. Scales enjoyed watching NASCAR and fishing. He was a connoisseur of fine foods and was known as an excellent grill cook. Surviving are his sister, Susan Raley and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Glenn Hancock officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979.
