Dale Lane Collins

Dale Lane Collins, 83, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Stokes County on June 13, 1940, to the late Jesse H. Collins and Lila Cook Collins. Dale was a man who enjoyed the great outdoors. He loved taking trips to his cabin in stokes county where he would spend time canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and playing in the creek with his beloved grandson, Chandler. He was known as a great conversationalist and had a wonderful smile. Dale was also a proud veteran of the Marine Corps.

In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Chandler Collins.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Jason Dale Collins; daughter, Christy Robbins (Jason); a grandson, Chandler Robbins; two sisters, Sandra Francis and Vicki Pardon; as well as many nieces and nephews who he cared deeply about.
