Dallas Gray Warden

Dallas Gray Warden, 94, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on May 10, 2025.

Dallas was born to Dallas and Ola Warden on June 7, 1930.

Owner of Warden Motors, Dallas was a self-made man. He will be remembered for his sharp wit, sly sense of humor, and generous heart.

Dallas was preceded in death by his wives, Dalphene Warden and Peggy Cornatzer Warden; and his beloved daughter, Robyn King. Dallas is survived by his longtime companion, Peggy Parker; son, Ronald Warden (Sue); son-in-law, Rob King; and grandchildren, Cash King and Sterling King (Raman).

The family would like to express gratitude to Teri Torrence, Tammy Turner, and the other caregivers who took such excellent care of Dallas for the past year.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 18th, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, 3315 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston Salem, NC 27103. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
