Daniel Ray Pegram

Kernersville- Mr. Daniel “Dan” Ray Pegram, 78, passed away Friday, December 31, 2025, at his residence. He was born April 8, 1946, in Stokes County, the son of Clinton Odell and Annie Perdew Pegram. He was retired from R.J. Reynolds and served his country in the U.S. Navy serving two tours in Vietnam. Dan enjoyed building things with his hands and would give you the “shirt off his back.” A generous and patriotic man he is preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Dorothy Freeman, Bill Pegram, Ruby Latham, Zora Hemrick, Gracie Combs, Richard Pegram, Odell Pegram, Jr., Geneva Tucker, Annie (Pat) Rhymes and Donald Pegram. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. A private family service was held.
