Daniel Alan Tesh

Daniel “Danny” Alan Tesh, 63, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on June 16, 1960, to the late Robert Allen Tesh and Madge Fulp Tesh in Forsyth County, NC. Danny was a master machinist at Krispy Kreme for 42 years before retiring in 2021. He also loved to tend to his garden and spend time with his grandchildren. Danny was a lifetime member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church and grew up close to all his cousins, even living on the same street. He was a great cook and made chicken stew for the big gathering every year. Along with his parents, Danny is preceded in death by his brother David Tesh; granddaughter Corra Jean; niece Wendy Tesh; father-in-law James Doss; and special friend Lanny Miller. He is survived by his loving wife, Shannon Tesh; son Alan (Charlote) Tesh; grandchildren Eli, Alexa, Canaan and Kai; sister Susan (Larry) Dowless; brothers Russell (Michelle) Tesh and Mark (Teresa) Tesh; daughter Marela Tesh; mother-in-law Wanda Henley Doss; aunt Ruby Fulp; the Vergara-Lagunas families; special friends Jerry and Jan Rickett; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 2pm at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church with Reverend Eric Tang officiating. The family will receive friends from 1pm-2pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church.
