Danny "Wheelman" Charles

Mr. Danny Lee ""Wheelman"" Charles, 62 of Mocksville, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016. He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Charles. Surviving is his wife, Joyce; son, Jason Stewart (Angie); daughter, Cindy Prince (Randy); six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; his mother, Lois Hayes and his two sisters, Vicky and Kay all of Thomasville. Danny had retired from the NCDOT Forsyth Equipment Shop and retired from the Smith Grove Fire Department and was a member of Cornatzer Baptist Church. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. Burial will follow in Cornatzer Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Davie County Firemen's Association Benevolence Fund at Bank of the Ozarks. Mr. Charles request casual dress for his funeral service.
