Darlene Dove Linville Mabe Turner

Mrs. Darlene Dove Linville Mabe Turner, 92, of Kernersville, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025. She was born May 24, 1933, in Forsyth County, the daughter of John Henry and Bertie Freeman Linville. She had retired from Burlington Industries, was a selfless person, who would do anything for anyone who needed it. Darlene was a hard worker that loved to sing gospel music. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, William Hoover Mabe; her second husband, Norman Turner; and six siblings. Survivors include her daughters, Sylvia Jeffreys (Roy) of Kernersville, NC, and April Helms (Bobby) of Hartwell, GA; two sons, William L. Mabe (Ani) of Raleigh, NC, and James Mabe of Kernersville, NC; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a special granddaughter, Jillian. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, July 26, 2025, in Mt Gur Cemetery with Rev, Ronnie Andrews officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 PM Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel before the service.
