Daryl "Craig" Hodges

Daryl "Craig" Hodges, age 65, passed away on January 14, 2026, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Craig was born on May 11, 1960, in Forsyth County to the late Talmadge (TL) Hodges and Ethel Rexford Hodges. In addition to his parents, Craig was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Spears. Craig is survived by his siblings, Karen Pitts and Terry Hodges (Victoria), as well as his daughters, Amy Swink (Van) and Crystal Barker. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and extended family members.

Throughout most of his life, Craig worked as a freelance carpenter. When not working, Craig was an avid fishing enthusiast that enjoyed spending time outdoors.

The family will receive friends for a memorial remembrance on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM at Kernersville Community House, 405 Salisbury St., in Kernersville, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, www.trellissupport.org/donate or another charitable organization of your choosing.
