David R. Bracknell

David R. Bracknell, 51, left the struggles of this life behind on Wednesday, September 23, 2015. A strong and compassionate man, our beloved brother, son and husband taught us all patience, perseverance, humility, forgiveness, and unconditional love. He was preceded in death by his mother, Violet Bracknell and brother, Luther Bracknell.
David is survived by his father and stepmother, Wallace and Gwen Bracknell; brother, Keith Bracknell (Debbie); sister, Sandy Jellison (Bob); and wife, Alicia Gibson.
A celebration of David's life will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 12 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Chris Byrne officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. A private family burial will follow the service at Sunset Gardens in Henderson, NC.
