David Martin Branch

Mr. David Martin Branch, 60, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born September 30, 1956 in Asheville, the son of the late, M. B. and Mary Elizabeth Hartley Branch. Mr. Branch attended First Christian Church in Kernersville and was a graduate of East Forsyth High School. He was retired from the Utilities Department of the City of Winston-Salem. He enjoyed his morning trips to Kermit's Hot Dogs and attending races at Bowman Gray Stadium. Survivors include one son, David Lee Branch of Kernersville; one granddaughter; two sisters, Dian Branch of Winston-Salem and Bonnie Hill and husband, Thomas of Walkertown; and two brothers, Mike Branch and wife, Susan of Winston-Salem and Bobby Branch and wife, Joyce of Lexington. The funeral service will be conducted Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Chris Byrne and Rev. Wayne Branch officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at the funeral home.
