David Lee Brewer

Mr. David Lee Brewer, 86, of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016. He was born February 7, 1930 in Forsyth County to Ethel Myers Brewer and John Russell Brewer. Mr. Brewer served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Ardmore United Methodist Church and retired from The Boeing Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Spainhour Brewer. Surviving are his daughter, Leigh Fletcher of Salisbury; a granddaughter, Jessica F. Finsel of Salisbury and four great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Addisyn, David and Lucas Finsel. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Ardmore United Methodist Church with Rev. Jock Ollis officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
