David James Foster

David James Foster, 57 of King, died Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Foster was born December 17, 1952 in Forsyth County, a son of the late Gladys Burton Foster and Guy Henry Foster who survives of Winston-Salem. He graduated from Parkland High School and earned a Bachelors of Science degree from High Point University. He worked for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, and also Carolina Narrow Fabrics. He loved trains and was a member of the Winston-Salem Model Railroad Club. In addition to his father, Mr. Foster is survived by his sister, Ann Foster of Winston-Salem; brothers, Brian Foster and wife Bobbi of King, Jeff Foster and wife Robin of Lexington, and Michael Foster and wife Lisa of Winston-Salem, numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs, Jackie and Jordon. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev. Gerald Parker and Pastor John Bishop officiating.
