David Wayne Holder

Mr. David Wayne Holder, 58, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born in Forsyth Co. on May 12, 1955 the son of the late Frank Thomas Holder, Sr. and Sylvia Jean Wilson Holder. David was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church in Clemmons and was employed by the City of Winston-Salem. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Randall Holder. David is survived by his wife of 29 years, Carol Holder of the home, a daughter, Brandy Holder, a son, Jarrett Holder, a sister, Frances Holder Cowen (Chris) of Kernersville and two brothers, Frank Thomas Holder, Jr. of Lewisville and Jeffrey Holder of Tobaccoville. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2014 at Union Hill Baptist Church in Clemmons with Rev. Christopher Burcham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 this evening Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
