David Newman

David Wayne Newman, 59, of Clemmons passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Health surrounded by family. He was a loyal employee to the City of Winston-Salem. David was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather. His wife and family were his life and he cherished time with his grandchildren most. He is preceded in death by his brother, William Richard Newman. He is survived by his wife, Deborah, mother and stepfather, Frank & Marilyn Casstevens, father, John J Newman (Shirley Williams), brother, Edward (Fran), sons, Wesley (Jenny), Dustin (Chelsea), stepdaughter, Amber (Bryan Cudd), grandchildren, Izzy, Aiden, Fischer, and future grandchild, Lyam, & 2 stepbrothers, Barry & Rocky Casstevens. His celebration of life is Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 3:00 PM with visitation to follow until 6:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home at 3315 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forsyth Park Baptist Church, 1600 S Hawthorne Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
