David Stewart Patterson

KERNERSVILLE - David Stewart Patterson, 82, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born October 31, 1929 in Fort Valley, GA to the late Ed Clifford and Pauline Scarborough Patterson. Mr. Patterson was a United States Army Air Force Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. He retired from McNair Farms as a Crop Duster after many years of service. Surviving are his wife, Rosa Patterson of the home; three daughters, Valerie Murphy and husband, Darrell of Jacksonville, FL, Vickie Smith and husband, Tony of Kernersville, Karen Patterson of New York; four grandchildren, Matthew and Evan Smith, Kaitlin and Kelly Murphy; two brothers, John Patterson of Mooresville, Earl Patterson of Ft. Valley, GA; and his beloved dogs, Rex & Morgan. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B.
