David Tombolato

Mr. David John Tombolato, 71, passed away August 30, 2021.  He was born February 17, 1950, in Cook County Illinois to the late Evo and Henrietta Tombolato.  David grew up in Chicago, IL and lived there until 1994 when he moved to Winston-Salem, NC.  He retired from Lowe’s Home Improvement with 17 years of service.  David loved woodworking and spending time with the light of his life, his great-granddaughter, Bailey.  He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Ruby Kimberland Tombolato; two stepsons Donald Fritz (Lisa) and Patrick Fritz (Karen); three grandchildren: Ashley Rabold, Patricia Fritz, and Logan Fritz (Laura); and two great-grandchildren, Bailey Rabold and Elijah Fritz; brother, Peter Tombolato; and sister, Maria Vlcek.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
