David Hal Tysinger

David Hal Tysinger, 78, of Walnut Cove, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Walnut Cove Health and Rehab.

Mr. Tysinger was born April 26, 1947, in Forsyth County, to Walter Vance Tysinger and Jessie Marie Yates Tysinger. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by two brothers; one sister; and one son in-law, Roger Keith Garrell Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Martha Anne Snow Tysinger; two sons, Leon Tysinger (Sandy), and Stevie Tysinger (Kim); one daughter, Ellen Garrell; five grandchildren, Adam, Allison, Haleigh, Mary, and Jennifer; six great-grandchildren, Amelia, Asher, Paisleigh, Eden, Ivey, and Cole.

A funeral service will be held 2 PM Monday, January 19, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller, Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Travis Howard and Rev. James T. “Chip” Webb Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
