Dawn Adele Binkley Wrenn

Dawn Adele Binkley Wrenn went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 9, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 7, 1963 in Orlando, FL, to Charles Thomas and Sheila Boose Binkley. Dawn spent her life showing kindness and compassion to others. Whether it was her beloved animals or her family, she always made time for those she loved. Every Sunday, without fail, Dawn could be found having breakfast at the local Cracker Barrel with her grandmother, mom, dad, aunts and uncle. Whether it was taking art classes with her mom, watching Duke basketball with her dad, watching races with her brother, Chris, or doing art and craft projects with her sister, Heather, Dawn went out of her way to make sure everyone felt important. She was a member of the Triad Decorative Painters and enjoyed painting memory boxes for Brenner Children's Hospital. Dawn was the kind of person who called her grandmother every day, just to check in. Dawn graduated from West Forsyth High School in 1981 and attended Appalachian State University. She is survived by her parents; her sister, Heather Faircloth and husband, Mitch; her brother, Chris Binkley; her two nieces Morgan and Serenity Faircloth; and numerous family members and close friends. The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, December 14 at 1:00 PM at Olivet Moravian Church with Rev. Matthew Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30 AM until 12:45 PM at the church. The Binkley family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Kate B.
